VITREOLYSIS METHOD OF VITREOUS BODY OPACITY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61F9/00 A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2726468 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for vitreolysis of vitreous opacity. Ophthalmic examination is carried out, including eyeball biomicroscopy using a contact lens. Turbidity of the vitreous body is detected. Ultrasonic examination is carried out at ultrasonic power value 101 dB to determine the position of opacities relative to the retinal and posterior capsule of the crystalline lens and visualize them, to break down the turbidity using energy of the YAG laser. After visualization of turbidity on the value of ultrasonic power 101 dB when performing ultrasonic examination, the value of ultrasound power is reduced to disappearance of turbidity imaging. Thereafter, the acoustic density of the vitreous body is determined as the difference between these ultrasound power values and depending on the obtained acoustic density of vitreous body determining the energy of the YAG laser for turbidity destruction by formula E=0.2816 × Q - 1.878, where E is energy of YAG-laser for turbidity destruction; Q is the acoustic density of vitreous body.

EFFECT: method enables removing turbidity in a sparing environment for surrounding tissues without postoperative complications.
