SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for determination of indications for surgical correction of fibrosis of lens anterior capsule in case of pseudiphakia and presence of pathology of peripheral zone of eye fundus. By means of methods of optical coherent tomography of anterior eye segment and ultrasonic biomicroscopy determined are: presence or absence of overlapping by lens anterior capsule of optic eye axis, measurement of the shortest distance from optic eye axis to the edge of capsulotomic hole in case if such overlapping is absent, measurement of anterior capsule thickness at the distance 500 mcm from the edge of capsulotomic hole, measurement of acoustic density of anterior capsule. In case if overlapping of optic eye axis with lens anterior capsule is present or if the shortest distance from optic eye axis to the edge of capsulotomic hole constitutes from 0.01 to 1.0 mm, thickness of anterior capsule, at least, in one segment constitutes from 0.1 to 1.0 mm, acoustic density of anterior capsule constitutes from 20 to 100% of acoustic density of sclera, surgical correction of anterior capsule fibrosis is considered to be indicated.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to elaborate efficient determination of indications for ablation.
