FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. Before and after 3 courses of FCR chemotherapy, a speckle-tracking echocardiography is performed to determine the global longitudinal deformation of GLS. That is followed by 3 courses of chemotherapy, stress echocardiography with dobutamine to determine contractile reserve by GLS. Field of the risk of developing subclinical left ventricular systolic dysfunction is evaluated: with GLS reduction ≤ 15 % relative to initial value and absence of contractile reserve, development risk is high. When reducing GLS ≤ 15 % of the initial value and presence of contractile reserve, development risk is low. When reducing GLS > 15 % of the initial value, the development of subclinical left ventricular systolic dysfunction is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables high-accuracy prediction of subclinical left ventricular dysfunction in the use of a cardiotoxic preparation, clearly determining an algorithm of study frequency and interpretation thereof.
