FIELD: ice-technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice science and ice-technical equipment and serves for prediction of moment of formation of cracks or fracture of ice field. System which implements the method of monitoring the drifting ice field or fast ice state and predicting its fracture during ice compression and swelling effects comprises four modular field stations 1 (C1, C2, C3, C4), sensors 2 (D1 – seismometers, D2 – tiltmeters, D3 – deformometers, D4 – stressing sensors in ice, D5 – receivers of global satellite positioning system signal), radio channels 3, data collection and processing base station 4 located on vessel 5, radiation source RS (cracking and destruction center). Data collection and processing base station 4 comprises receivers 6–9, narrow-band filters 10–13, phase meters 14–19, computer 20, correlators 21.1–21.6, controlled delay units 22.1–22.6, multipliers 23.1–23.6, low frequency filters 24.1–24.6, extreme regulators 25.1–25.6, indicators 26–31 of angles.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of expansion of functional capabilities of the method and high accuracy of determining location of fracture formation and destruction.
