FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind-power engineering, namely, to systems for prevention of uncontrolled acceleration of Darier windrotor under strong winds. System comprises a wind rotor generator, a non-magnetic rotary current conducting disc, an electromagnetic unit, controller with preset reference value of frequency or with preset threshold value of voltage, comparator. Comparator is connected to phases of the generator and to the controller. Comparator is configured to analyse frequency or voltage value of signal coming from generator. Controller is configured to switch by means of switching voltage switches to the electromagnetic unit when the value of the input voltage exceeds the threshold voltage value or when deviating from the reference frequency value. Electromagnetic unit is made in the form of a multi-winding electromagnetic unit located rigidly relative to the wind rotor, and its pole piece is placed with a gap < 1mm to the plane connected to the wind rotor by a rotating non-magnetic current-conducting disc. Electromagnetic unit is made in the form of separate electromagnets, uniformly distributed along circumference of non-magnetic current-conducting disc.

EFFECT: number of electromagnets is less by one than number of phases of generator, and are made so that each next electromagnet is connected at saturation of previous electromagnet and further growth of wind turbine rotation frequency.
