FIELD: materials research and analysis.

SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the research and analysis of materials and liquids using a high-frequency signal and can be used to measure the quantity and quality of oil during production and transportation in the oil producing and oil refining industries, specifically to measure the moisture content of oil. The effect is achieved by measuring and calculating the moisture content of an array of reference spectra in the probing signal range from 1 to 3000 MHz using a strip microwave sensor and using a reference mixture in memory controller, in which the software compares the measured spectrum with a set of reference spectra array and then, by interpolation from the reference spectra, the controller recalculates the measured characteristics of the studied oil-water mixture and calculates the parameters of the studied oil-water mixture, as well as the moisture content value. The device for implementing the method consists of a strip microwave sensor with inlet and outlet nozzles, a temperature sensor, an electronics unit, while the inlet and outlet nozzles are located on the measuring section pipe, the microwave strip sensor is located axially in the center of the measuring section pipe and consists of a metal rod, made of non-magnetic metal, on which the substrate is placed, with a strip line, at the same time, high-frequency filters in the form of perforations are made on the pipe wall of the measuring section at the junctions with the inlet and outlet nozzles, while the diameter of the perforation holes is made with the possibility of effective isolation of the measuring section in terms of the frequency of the probing signal.

EFFECT: reducing the error in measuring the moisture content of oil-water mixtures with different compositions and amounts of dissolved salts.
