FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polysaccharides. Disclosed polysaccharide has immunostimulating activity on congenital immunity and contains from 25 to 50 molar fractions of galacturonic acid, from 15 to 50 molar fractions of galactose, from 0 to 7 molar fractions of glucose, from 0 to 30 molar ratio of arabinose, from 0 to 6 molar fractions of xylose and from 3 to 15 molar ratio of rhamnose as constituent sugars and polygalacturonic acid chain as the main chain containing α-1,4-connected galacturonic acid. Polysaccharide is represented by broccoli extract. Invention also discloses a food product and a beverage containing said polysaccharide.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at producing a polysaccharide exhibiting immunostimulating activity with respect to innate immunity.
