FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing polysaccharides. A method for obtaining a polysaccharide from broccoli is proposed. The method includes cutting broccoli, adding water, followed by autoclaving it at 121°C for 20 minutes. Leave to cool and centrifuge at 8,000 rpm for 10 minutes to obtain a "hot water extract" supernatant, which is subjected to ethanol precipitation. The resulting precipitate is dissolved in Milli-Q water and then dialyzed against Milli-Q water and lyophilized. The lyophilized product is subjected to DEAE-cellulose column chromatography to obtain a fraction absorbed on a DEAE-cellulose column. The obtained fraction contains a polysaccharide containing from 25 to 50 mole fractions of galacturonic acid, from 15 to 50 mole fractions of galactose, from 0 to 7 mole fractions of glucose, from 0 to 30 mole fractions of arabinose, from 0 to 6 mole fractions of xylose and from 3 to 15 mole fractions of rhamnose as constituent sugars; and a polygalacturonic acid chain as the main chain containing α -1,4-linked galacturonic acid.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a polysaccharide having immunostimulating activity.
