FIELD: neurosurgery, in particular, atraumatic surgical treatment of patients having brain squeezed with intracranial hematoma in the absence of features referring to temporotentorial wedging.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has shank part and operating part. Operating part is made in the form of bowl-shaped metal crown with teeth on its cutting surface and with sharpened tip-center detecting part positioned centrally of operating part. Tip may alter its position relative to cutting part and may be fixed. Restricting washer of 25-100 mm diameter is provided on crown outer surface. Washer is connected with shank through threaded connection and is provided with retaining lock bolt. Teeth have thickness of up to 2 mm, different sharpening angles of internal and external surfaces and are arranged at an angle to inner surface of crown.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for minimal injury to patient's organism during surgical treatment.
