FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to ship propulsors with low hydrodynamic noise. Ship screw propulsor comprises hub and blades with inlet and outlet sections. Surfaces of outlet sections of blades have wavy shape. Outline of edges of outlet sections of blades has toothed shape, at that ratio of width of tooth blade L of blade edge to half of its height h is not more than four, and wavy areas are made of outlet sections of blades only from pressure side of blade, and with suction side they remain smooth.
EFFECT: reduction of hydrodynamic noise of a ship screw propulsor in a high frequency range, measured in kilohertz, as well as improvement of proofing acoustic characteristics with preservation of cavitation properties of the propulsor.
