FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, and more specifically to sweep projectiles for testing weapons systems for suitability for practical firing, and can be used for inspection of shafts for compliance with strength and intra-ballistic requirements and conditions of standard operation on controlled parameters of internal ballistics of barrels during firing with test shells. Proposed projectile comprises central core arranged inside calibrated tray, on centring bulge of which there is a polymer driving band, and its stern is closed by an insulating cap from the solidifying compound, overlapping the conformal skirt of the elastic seal, which is covered in the joint, installed in the subcutaneous undercut of the tray, wherein the core is equipped with a shank with aerodynamic blades, on the periphery of which basing pins are fixed, and a ballistic tip having a landing pin. Tray is made monolithic drop-shaped, to head flat end of which adjoins mass-changing tip rigidly connected with tray by means of threaded connection of its mounting pin, wherein from the tray opposite end is screwed on the centre core to the stop in the seat tip of the pin, and the insulating cap is fixed directly on the stern of the tray.

EFFECT: technical result is universality of design scheme of system test shell of different calibre, made of simple structural materials, while maintaining identity centre with replaceable: centre of mass, volume of lead-and-drop portion and total mass, which during testing of barrels by shell firing according to invention provides identity of internal ballistics with standard sub calibre shell, enabling experimental firing from new and worn-out shafts for their normative certification with considerably less material costs.
