FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for sheet processing. Proposed method comprises processing of sheet with n rows with m deforming elements in every row arranged in matrix at maximum close distance from each other. Matrix reciprocates in transverse direction, displacing in one stroke at distance between deforming elements at speed Vm, wherein deforming elements perform rotational and reciprocating motions in vertical plane perpendicular to sheet, and the sheet moves along the roller table at the rate specified by the mathematical relationship.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create high-speed sign-variable deformation in the volume of the processed sheet in several local deformation centers, as a result of which there is shear deformation along the sheet thickness, a gradient metal nanostructure is formed.
