FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of obtaining heat-resistant, heat-protective and erosion-resistant ceramic coatings of large (more than one mm) thickness method of plasma spraying for structural elements operating under conditions of action of flows of aggressive gaseous media and considerable thermal stresses, for example, for parts and assemblies of rocket equipment. Method of producing coatings includes plasma layer-by-layer sputtering, which is performed successively with formation of each monolayer with thickness of 15 ± 5 mcm, with subsequent cooling of sprayed layers with air-and-air mixture, which is supplied to each sputtered layer only outside the contact zone of the article with plasma jet. Temperature of sputtered layers is controlled and maintained in range of 120–200 °C due to cooling intensity, which is controlled by the volume of water supplied to the water-air mixture.
EFFECT: method is characterized by universality, ease of conduct, absence of expensive specialized equipment, and, as a result, is promising for obtaining a wide range of heat-resistant, heat-protective and erosion-resistant coatings of structural elements of thermally loaded parts.
