FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: material containing aluminium oxide represents spheroidised white alumina powder, grade 25A and fraction 20-40 mcm. A ceramic block of the defined shape, dimensions and finish allowances is moulded by layer-by-layer plasma deposition of spheroidised white alumina onto a substrate. A layer thickness sprayed in one plasma jet operation is 20 to 50 mcm. Air is used as plasma-supporting gas. After the moulded ceramic block is separated from the substrate, a side of the ceramic block having faced the substrate is ground off. A sodium chloride film of min. thickness 200 mcm is pre-formed on the substrate.
EFFECT: by producing the dental white alumina ceramic and reducing its impurity level, the method enables extending the range of aids for producing the structural dental aluminium oxide ceramic and improving its biocompatibility.
