FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of welding at least two separate panels of a vehicle to form an integral part for a vehicle. Proposed method comprises providing first and second panels including first and second areas of welding line. Second area of the welding line adjoins the first area of the welding line so that it is possible to form a welded joint. First and second areas of the welding line are characterized by the presence of the first welded part and the second part, where welding is difficult during welding of the first panel to the second panel. Curable adhesive material is applied on the second part. Adhesive material is non-reactive. First and second panels are placed in welding position. Further, said panels are welded together in the area of said first welded part so as to hold said panels together during hardening of said adhesive.
EFFECT: efficient connection of parts in areas which are difficult to access in traditional welding operations, preventing premature hardening of glue before or during welding.
