FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multistage methods of desalination, including successive removal of impurities without addition of aggressive chemical substances. Besides, the invention involves production of a useful by-product (fertilizer) during removal of sea water salts. During initial treatment, sea water or saline waste water is treated to precipitate minerals precipitated in form of phosphates, including magnesium-ammonium phosphate, used as fertilizer. During the initial phase ammonium phosphate and sodium phosphate are added to sea water or saline waste water with subsequent addition of ammonia and a charged water-based solvent. After the precipitated solid substance is separated, purified sea water or salty waste water is subjected to aeration and filtration to obtain drinking water or water suitable for use.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of a drinking product, the production method of which is optimized and cost-effective due to reduction of increased pressure in comparison with traditional method, and avoiding use of expensive reverse osmosis membranes.
