FIELD: treatment of industrial waste water.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of industrial waste water and, more specifically, waste water from a fertilizer production enterprise, such as an enterprise for production of nitrophosphate, organic or organo-mineral fertilizers. Chloride ions and other impurities can be removed by electrolysis, and to control the pH of the cathode chamber, treated waste water from the anode chamber is directed into the cathode chamber, and new waste water is directed to anode chamber for subsequent electrolysis cycle. This is an effective method of controlling pH of the cathode chamber and preventing occurrence of white deposits on the cathode.
EFFECT: efficient reduction of chloride concentration in waste water of fertilizer production.
