FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: mobile communication system comprises one or more base stations, each of which includes a transmitter and receiver, configured to provide wireless access interface for data transfer to mobile communication devices and/or from mobile communication devices, the wireless access interface provides main carrier on a downlink, wherein the main carrier provides multiple resource elements in the first frequency range for transmitted data; and the first and second mobile communication devices. First mobile communication device is configured to receive downlink data via the main carrier. Wireless access interface provided with one or more base stations, is made with possibility of virtual carrier, wherein the virtual carrier provides one or more resource elements within the second frequency range, which is located within the first frequency band or smaller than the first frequency range, and the second mobile communication device is configured to, after detection of virtual carrier, receiving downlink data through virtual carrier.
EFFECT: technical result consists in using relatively cheap and simpler device to provide communication using networks of LTE type.
