FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to device (100) configured to receive different angular orientations during use. Device (100) comprises sensor (101) connected to control unit (102) to determine angular orientation of device (100) during use, user mechanism (103) of switch for generating an initiating signal for said control unit (102) for each actuation of user mechanism (103) of switch, and interface (104) for displaying at least one operating mode of said device (100). Control unit (102) is configured to: detect, based on the measured angular orientation, that device (100) is in a given angular orientation; initiating successive display in said interface (104) of another operating mode selected from said at least one operation mode, for each subsequent initiation signal generated only when device (100) is in said predetermined angular orientation; and using said device (100) of the last operating mode displayed on said interface (104).

EFFECT: this solution enables to activate a variety of different operating modes using only one user mechanism of the switch.
