SUBSTANCE: method of assembling door and window frames made of plastic material, comprising: at least a step of providing at least profiled element (1), made of plastic material for assembling door and window frames;—at least step of providing at least reinforcing element (8) made of metal material, wherein said shaped element (1) has at least accommodating seat (6) for said reinforcing element (8);—at least step of insertion of said reinforcing element (8) into said holding seat (6);—at least stage of attachment of said reinforcing element (8) to said profiled element (1) by means of attachment means (9) between at least part (10) of profiled element and at least part (11) of reinforcing element. Said attachment step includes at least a step of heating said reinforcing member portion (11) by electromagnetic induction means (12), wherein said attachment means (9) are configured to interact with at least one of said shaped member portion (10) and said heated part (11) of the reinforcing member for attaching said reinforcing member portion (11) to said shaped member portion (10), as well as the above heating stage includes a stage of softening of said shaped element part (10), wherein said heated part (11) of reinforcing element is in contact with said part (10) of profiled element, said heated part (11) of the reinforcing element is configured to transfer heat to said portion (10) of the profiled member to produce said softened portion (10) of the profiled member.
