FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a charger for an aerosol delivery device. Charging device contains a casing, a connecting device connected to the casing, and a power supply device. Connecting device can be connected to casing and is made with possibility of interaction with control housing, connected or made with possibility of connection with cartridge with formation of aerosol delivery device. Power supply device may contain supercapacitor located inside casing and connected to power supply source, when connecting device is brought into interaction with control housing, and configured to supply power for repeated charging of power supply. Power supply source can also contain a photovoltaic cell connected to the casing and to the supercapacitor and from which the supercapacitor can be charged.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of probability of short circuit.
