FIELD: aerosol delivery devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol delivery devices, such as electronic cigarettes and cigarettes using tobacco heating without its burning, and, in particular, to an inductive device for aerosol delivery. Aerosol delivery device comprises a substrate configured to contain an aerosol precursor composition, an induction transmitter, induction receiver and control component. Induction transmitter is configured to generate an alternating magnetic field. Induction receiver is located near substrate and is configured to generate heat when the receiver is exposed to an alternating magnetic field and thus with the possibility of evaporating the components of the aerosol precursor composition. Control component is configured to direct electric current to induction transmitter to provide creation of alternating magnetic field by induction transmitter, wherein control component is configured to direct electric current according to inverter topology with switching at zero voltage.

EFFECT: disclosed is a control means for an inductive aerosol delivery device.
