FIELD: protective devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical protective component intended for observation during reflection with the naked eye on a surveillance surface. Disclosed protective optical component comprises a first layer of dielectric material having a first refraction index (n1), wherein at least one first diffraction structure (S1, S2) is engraved on said first layer. First structure comprises a first pattern with at least one set of modules arranged side by side in a predetermined direction (X) of location, wherein maximum width (λ) of each module, given in direction of location (X), is less than 300 mcm. Each module comprises a relief with a first set of faces, the shapes of which are defined to simulate an optical element visible when reflected with at least one convex or concave region, having a profile with an inclination varying in one direction (Y), note here that said inclination direction is perpendicular to direction of position (X). For two modules located next to each other, the inclination, at least along one line, parallel to direction (X) of location, is different between the above two modules.
EFFECT: creation of original dynamic visual effect.
