FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: light-emitting device has a substrate, a light-emitting element disposed on the substrate and having a top surface and a side surface; reflecting layer, arranged on light emitting element upper surface; first light transmitting element having a first surface in contact with said side surface of the light emitting element, and a second surface that is inclined to the substrate in the direction from the light emitting element; second light transmitting element, in contact with said second surface and closing the light-emitting element; reflecting element configured to reflect light from the light emitting element, wherein reflecting element is located in region outside of second light transmitting element, wherein the refraction index of the first light-transmissive element is less than the refractive index of the second light-transmissive element.
EFFECT: invention enables formation of a light-emitting device, in which the amount of light transmitted in the directions of the upper surface is reduced, and the desired light distribution properties can be obtained.
