SUBSTANCE: homogeneous solid particle includes at least 50 wt % calcium nitrate (in terms of Ca(NO₃)₂), from 0 to 10 wt % one or more of the following substances: ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate, and from 0.01 to 0.2 wt % zinc, where zinc is present in form of zinc nitrate. Powder composition containing homogeneous solid particles. Application of powdered composition as fertilizer. Method of producing homogeneous fertilizer particles involves the following steps: a. providing a first aqueous solution comprising dissolved calcium nitrate, dissolved ammonium nitrate and dissolved zinc nitrate and a zinc and EDTA coordination compound in an amount sufficient to obtain an aqueous solution containing from 0.01 to 0.2 wt % zinc, b. heating first aqueous solution to temperature greater than 150 °C, and c. granulating particles obtained from a second aqueous solution by spraying solution through at least one nozzle, as a result, drops are hardening.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain particles which form a smaller amount of dust and are more resistant to abrasion than flakes.
