SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular concerns fertilizer particles containing calcium nitrate and potassium nitrate. The fertilizer is presented in the form of solid homogeneous particles containing from 43 to 47% wt./wt. of calcium nitrate, from 46 to 54% wt./wt. of potassium nitrate and from 0.5 to 3% wt./wt. of water. The fertilizer is obtained by cooling liquid droplets of homogeneous melt containing from 43 to 47% wt./wt. of calcium nitrate, from 46 to 54% wt./wt. of potassium nitrate and from 0.5 to 3% wt./wt. of water by falling through coolant.

EFFECT: proposed fertilizer contains an increased content of calcium nitrate, while, when receiving the fertilizer, low-viscosity melt is formed with short curing time, which facilitates the process of obtaining the fertilizer.
