FIELD: preparation of nitrogen-potassium fertilizers and homogeneous products of nitrogen-potassium fertilizers. SUBSTANCE: calcium-nitrate fertilizers are melted together with potassium nitrate to form melt or suspension thereof which become particles to form homogeneous nitrogen-potassium fertilizer. Calcium- nitrate fertilizer and potassium nitrate are melted together at 90-120 C and are then heated to desired particle formation temperature of 160-190 C for pelletizing and 90-140 C for granulation. Components are mixed at ratios which give melt or suspension containing, wt.%: calcium nitrate, 40-14; potassium nitrate, 55-85; water, 0.5-6; ammonium nitrate, 0-4; magnesium nitrate, 0-5.
