FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is resin grain containing functional groups, based on vinyl polymer for processing aqueous solutions containing one or more sugars and/or one or more sugar alcohols, containing functional groups having structure (S1)
,
where -X- contains one or more structures (S7), one or more structures (S8), one or more structures (S9) or a combination thereof, where structure (S7), structure (S8) and structure (S9) are defined as follows:
where the aromatic ring in structure (S9) can be substituted or unsubstituted, and where each of R1 and R2 is independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino, unsubstituted alkyl and substituted alkyl, and where R3 is selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, unsubstituted alkyl and substituted alkyl, where -Y is structure (S5):
,
where -A5- is structure (S8):
,
where each of R1 and R2 is independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl, amino, unsubstituted alkyl and substituted, wherein mole ratio of multivalent atomic cations to -X- groups is either 0:1 or 0.01:1 or less. Invention also relates to a set of resin beads.
EFFECT: technical result is efficient separation of sugars using resin grains characterized by relatively large average diameter and relatively high homogeneity coefficient.
