METHOD FOR PRODUCING OIL NEEDLE COKE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C10B55/00

Abstract RU 2729191 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing hydrocarbons, in particular to a method of producing petroleum needle coke for electrode industry. Method involves mixing initial material with coking gas oil with formation of secondary raw material, heating secondary raw material, feeding it into a coking chamber at a coking temperature and coking to obtain coke and a coking distillate, which is fed into the lower part of the rectification column for fractionation. Initial raw material is obtained by mixing a heavy pyrolysis resin (HPR) and a heavy gasoil of catalytic cracking (HGCC), wherein a mixture of HPR and HGCC is preliminarily heated to 260–340 °C at pressure of 0.2 to 0.4 MPa and separated into light and heavy parts. Then separately, heavy and separately light parts are subjected to thermal treatment under various conditions. After that, obtained heat treatment products are jointly supplied to evaporator, where in form of heavy residue thermally treated prepared raw material is formed, which is sent to column for formation of secondary raw material, where in mixture with coking products is subjected to fractionation and at outlet of column is mixed with gasoil of coking. Obtained mixture is fed into a coking furnace and a coking chamber in which a coking process is provided by means of three reactors operating in parallel with alternate loading of the material, coking and unloading of the coke. Pairs of the gasoline fraction and gaseous products of heat treatment of the initial raw material produced in the rectification column are condensed and collected in a collecting vessel. Further, a portion of the gas fraction is fed for irrigation of the upper tray of the rectification column and for recycling for mixing with light raw material, and another part - balance excess is discharged from the installation, at that gases from the collecting vessel are sent to the amine purification unit of standard design.

EFFECT: technical result is increased output of target product - needle coke with high operational properties.
