SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry and motor-building industry. Noise silencer of internal combustion engine is made of sheet material, coiled in form of spiral with closed outer coil. Between turns, closed curvilinear space is formed. Noise-absorbing material is arranged between turns. Housing has connecting elements. Sheet surface has smooth area and area with extruded pins and ridges. Smooth surface of last coil is coiled with previous coil without formation of gap.

EFFECT: invention can be used in exhaust paths of internal combustion engines.
