FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite material used, in particular, in automotive industry. Composite material (1) consists of metal lower flat element (2), metal upper flat element (2') and intermediate layer of thermosetting plastic, located between lower flat element (2) and upper flat element (2'). Intermediate layer consists of three or more thermosetting materials (3, 4, 5), wherein one thermosetting material (3) is in a cured state, and the other thermosetting material (4) is in an uncured state. First thermosetting material (3) has a polymerisation temperature of 50–100 °C, second thermosetting material (4) has a polymerisation temperature of 150–220 °C, and third thermosetting material (5) has a polymerisation temperature of 230–260 °C. Invention also relates to a method of making such a composite material and a method of making a part moulded therefrom.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a composite material with improved moulding properties.
