FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically interrupted heating element, as well as installation and system for welding by means of such heating element and method of thermal connection of elements from polymer material by inductive welding. Heating element comprises a band-like structure located in circumferential direction, having a gap in material and made of material heated by induction, which is spatially distributed or installed so that electric conductivity is interrupted in at least one place, and a tape-like carrier made of non-electroconductive carrying material. Plant comprises inner element made of polymer material, external element made of polymer material, which covers inner element at least partially, and a heating element, which circumferentially surrounds the inner member at least partially, and is located between the inner and outer members. System includes installation and exciter of electromagnetic field excitation, in which generator winding unit is connected to heating element by means of induction. Proposed method comprises induction heating of heating element whereat molten polymeric material of inner element and/or outer element is directly or indirectly connected to fused polymer material of another element.

EFFECT: invention improves inductive welding of polymer material with regard to stability of welded joint mechanical parameters.
