FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used for endoscopic cystocysternostomy of arachnoid cyst of middle cranial fossa. In the temporal region on the cyst side, an incision of the skin and the aponeurosis is performed up to 2 cm. Wound is dilated with a retractor and a milling hole is inserted in the underlying bone of up to 0.5 cm. Dissected pachymetric dissection is performed with dura mater puncture and neuropathic neuropsychiatosis 0 °C shell 2 mm. Neuroendoscope does not require rigid fixation. Cyst cavity is inspected. Neuroendoscope precise tweezers are used to perforate a medial wall of the arachnoid cyst into mesenteric and chiasmatic cisterns. Fogarty catheter is inserted into the perforated stoma and a stoma is incised with a catheter balloon. Intercrural and chiasmatic tanks are inspected by penetrating the neuroendoscope directly into cisterns themselves.
EFFECT: method enables effective and safe endoscopic cystacysternostomy of the arachnoid cyst of the middle cranial fossa, minimizing the surgical trauma and the risk of developing intra- and postoperative complications with maximum preservation of normal anatomy ensured by minimally invasive approach, using 0° neuroendoscope with 2 mm membrane.
