SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used for endoscopic installation of lumbar catheter in subarachnoid space. In Tuohy G14 needle is introduced a paracentetic semi-rigid neuroendoscope allowing visual control and positioning of the needle relative to the individual anatomy of the patient, as well as to cauda equina root array; Tuohy needle is fixed, neuroendoscope is removed therefrom, lumbar catheter is inserted through needle, and Tuohy needle is removed.
EFFECT: method provides the safety of the liquor drainage ensured by visual control and positioning of the needle relative to the individual anatomy of the patient, as well as to the cauda equina root array.
