FIELD: gyroscopic systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gyroscopic systems and can be used to determine the azimuth of the platform of a three-axis gyrostabilizer in navigation systems for various purposes. Method of determining the azimuth of a three-axis gyrostabilizer (TGS) from the angle of rotation of the gyroscope is that the platform is brought in the azimuth to the meridian, one of gyroscopes is disconnected from platform stabilization system and used in mode of two-degree gyro compass. Leveling and stabilization of the platform relative to the corresponding stabilization axis is carried out with an accelerometer by disconnecting it from the gyroscope moments sensor and connecting it via an amplifier to the stabilization motor. Gyroscope body of the leveling and stabilization system used in the two-degree gyro compass mode is rotated by the reversible piezoelectric motor while the azimuth of the TGS platform is determined by processing information on signals taken from the gyroscope angles sensor.
EFFECT: high accuracy of the system for determining the azimuth of the platform of a three-axis gyrostabilizer.
