SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gyroscopic systems. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that the method for calibrating gyro units of the platform of a triaxial gyrostabiliser (TGS) additionally comprises stages wherein, simultaneously with determining the azimuth of the axis of the TGS platform, a control current is applied in accordance with a preset algorithm to the input of the torque sensor of the gyro unit which provides rotation of the platform relative to the vertical axis, simultaneously measuring the average current of another gyro unit providing levelling of the platform, and the systematic components of the angular drift velocities of said gyro units are calculated.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities in determining the parameters of a triaxial gyrostabiliser (TGS).
