FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: operating method of the technical facility consists in the fact that maintenance is performed on the operating time and the value of the failure rate before the maintenance is recorded. Failure rate is compared to the allowable value. If the failure rate exceeds the allowable value, the operating time of the object is established before the next maintenance in proportion to the ratio of the allowable failure intensity to the fixed one. Fault intensity is used to account for failure reason. This type of failure is not considered as operational failure when determining value of failure rate of a technical object. In order to establish the operating time of an object before the next service, only failures that occurred not due to violation of operating conditions of the technical object are considered.
EFFECT: achieving the possibility of obtaining a reliable value of the object's operating time before the next service.
