SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. Method of automotive equipment operation consists in the fact that periodicity of object maintenance on the operating time is established. Automotive equipment is maintained. At the beginning of maintenance period, preparatory works are performed. Performing maintenance work, and in case of determination of impossibility to achieve nominal values when performing adjustment works, it is necessary to perform technical diagnostics. Performing works on technical diagnostics, and in case of non-operating state of diagnosed elements determining, it is necessary to perform fault localization and current repair. Fault localization and current repair are performed. Performing checking, adjustment and inspection works. Automotive equipment is maintained.
EFFECT: reduced set value of coefficient of technical use and reduced period of maintenance.
