SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method comprises steps of: receiving a first grant message from a wireless communication network comprising an indication of first radio resources. First radio resources are configured in accordance with the first transmission time interval from said plurality of transmission time intervals. Availability of transmission data associated with the first logical channel is determined. Determining a maximum transmission time interval associated with the first logical channel; and in response to determining that the transmission time maximum interval associated with the logical channel is less than the first transmission time interval, transmitting the scheduling request message to the wireless communication network, wherein scheduling request message is configured in accordance with second transmission time interval from said plurality of transmission time intervals, wherein the second transmission time interval is shorter than the first transmission time interval.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in saving resources when transmitting a scheduling request.
