FIELD: pipeline fittings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shut-off pipeline valves, namely to a ball valve made from polymer composite materials for use on steel pipelines, as well as pipelines from polymer and composite materials with highly aggressive media, operating both at high temperatures and pressures, and at low temperatures of ambient air in conditions of Extreme North, as well as in variable operating conditions. By wounds ball comprises a split housing of corrosion-resistant composite material, consisting of two parts interconnected by a threaded connection, with inlet and outlet openings, plug in form of ball, located in middle part of housing, sealing seats on both sides of plug, spindle connected to the handle and provided with a seal, wherein the plug and the handle are made from corrosion-resistant composite material, wherein one part of the housing enters the other part to form a cavity for placing the plug, and other part is made with ledge, having a trapezoidal section, and through hole for spindle installation, connected to handle by screw connection, wherein the upper surface of the protrusion is made with slots for interaction with pins made on the lower surface of the handle to enable the handle to be fixed in the "open" – "closed" positions, and sealing seats are pressed to the plug by a combined seal installed in the groove made on the sealing seat. Combined seal is made in form of rubber ring in solid fluoroplastic shell. Spindle can be made of metal or of composite material.

EFFECT: invention allows improving technical characteristics, namely improving reliability and tightness with preservation of anticorrosive properties, as well as increasing service life of the valve and reducing operating costs.
