FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in diffusion welding workpieces from aluminum alloy AMg3. After the vacuum medium is created in the furnace, the workpieces installed through the gaskets are heated to temperature of 510 deg. Workpieces are held for 1 hour and load of 1 t is created on the upper plate of the diffusion welding unit to remove residual gaps between the gaskets and workpieces and determine the height of the charge taking into account the coefficient of linear expansion. After zero displacement of top plate, deformation of workpieces with allowable value of plastic deformation of 0.4 % is transferred into active control. Load of 100 t is created on the upper plate and when the deformation is exceeded, pressure is controlled on the workpieces. Then, without pressure release, workpieces are cooled to 150–170 deg. in nitrogen medium. Pressure is then removed from workpieces and cooled to 30 deg.
EFFECT: method improves quality and strength characteristics of the welded joint and intensifies the welding process, as well as minimizes changes in the geometrical dimensions of the parts.
