FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method for providing processing in a computing environment includes detecting by a processor whether an access control element field contains a retention value for requesting a memory operand of a subsequent instruction to a memory location, shared by several computing devices of computing environment, and partial control of subsequent instruction processing by computing device depending on whether field of access control element contains value of retention, wherein said control includes: determining whether the corresponding cache line state in the private cache used for processing the memory operand request is in the exclusive possession of the computing device; and based on detecting that memory operand request is assigned to hold and that state of corresponding cache line in private cache is in exclusive possession, continued holding of corresponding cache line in private cache exclusively after processing of memory operand request processing.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of computing environment.
