SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of controlling access to memory in a multiprocessor computing environment. Processing identified as a limited request memory operatively temporarily is suppressed. Processing includes determining whether a memory operand request is limited for accessing a common memory location shared by several computing devices of the computing environment, and based on detecting that memory operand request is limited, time suppression of access requesting to general memory location in accordance with memory operand request. Processing device computing device can perform processing of limited request memory operand without performing suppression, when processing can be accompanied by a private cache computing device. Otherwise, suppression may continue before the instruction associated with memory operand request is next to completion.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the number of cases of non-productive passage through a computing environment of a common shared memory line.
