SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 2,9-bis-substituted trans-2,3a,7b,9,10a,14b-hexaazaperhydrodibenzotetracenes of general formula (1):

which can be used as candidate compounds for preparing preparations with antineoplastic activity and antiproliferative action, as well as N-containing chiral ligands, bifunctional and catalytic systems for enantioselective transformations.
EFFECT: novel method of producing 2,9-bis-substituted trans-2,3a,7b,9,10a,14b-hexaazaperhydrodibenzotetracenes, which involves reacting an amino compound of maleopimaric acid methyl ester with formaldehyde and trans-tetraazaperhydrotetracene in presence of 5–15 wt% of zeolite catalyst H-Ymmm in molar ratio, the amine derivative MPAME : formaldehyde : trans-tetraazaperhydrotetracene = 2:4:1 in CH3OH medium at temperature of ~20 °C and atmospheric pressure for 2_5–3_5 h.
