FIELD: gas filtration.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for gas filtration, for example, for air filter. Filtration element comprises filtering medium block (2) enclosing inside flow chamber, on inner side of which there is carrying frame (3) with at least one filtering medium block protruding above end face side and passing along perimeter by sealing annular sponge (6) for sealing relative to body part of filter body containing them. At radial distance from sealing annular jaw (6) on end face of filtering medium block (2) there is support ring (7), which in radial direction rests on bearing frame (3). Support ring (7) is made integral with bearing frame (3).

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of deformation of compactor, improved tightness.
