FIELD: filtering devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas filters, for example, to an air filter. Filtering device comprises filter element (1), which has filtration medium unit (2), through which cleaned fluid medium can flow in radial direction, sealing element (11) arranged on at least one end face of filtration medium unit (2) for sealing relative to body part (13) comprising filter element (1) of filter body. Sealing element (11) has at least one groove, at that mounting groove (15) on body part (13) covers sealing element (11), and in groove (23) support rib (20) of body part (13) is inserted. Sealing element (11) has enveloping grooves (23) supporting walls (21, 22), which both on the side facing groove (23) and on the side opposite to groove (23) form a support surface, on which in each case side wall (16, 17) of mounting groove (15) or, respectively, support rib (20) rests in radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis of filtering element (1).

EFFECT: ensuring high and long-term tightness of the device.
