FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is immunoglobulin with a single variable domain (ISVD), which specifically binds to a "pre-fusion" fusion protein (F) protein of the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), characterized in that said ISVD in a monovalent format shows similar neutralizing activity for serotypes A and B of the RSV, characterized in that said ISVD contains a CDR1 sequence, selected from a group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2, a CDR2 sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 3 and SEQ ID NO: 4 and CDR3 sequence selected from group, consisting of SEQ ID NO: 5 and SEQ ID NO: 6, and where CDR1, CDR2 and/or CDR3 differ by one, two or three amino acids with any of the above corresponding SEQ ID NO. Invention further relates to use of said ISVD for preventing and/or treating RSV infections and to pharmaceutical compositions containing said ISVD.
EFFECT: disclosed is immunoglobulin with one variable domain against RSV F-protein.
