SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contactless sensors. Assembly of proximity switches comprises first and second proximity switches and a contactless sensor assembly. Contactless sensors unit comprises the first and second contactless sensors. Sensors form the first and second activation fields and contain the first and second, third and fourth electrodes. First and the second electrodes have the first finger-shaped projections located opposite-comb-like with the second finger-like projections. Third and fourth electrodes have third pin-like projections located opposite-comb-like with fourth finger-like ledges. First and second electrodes are alternated with third and fourth electrodes. Alternating parts of the first, second, third and fourth electrodes are bevelled, or the first and third electrodes have bevelled first and third finger-like ledges, or the first and second electrodes alternate with the third and fourth electrodes at a distance of at least 2.0 mm.
EFFECT: enabling activation of the switch without distracting the driver.
