FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, in particular to self-contained unmanned underwater self-propelled vehicles (gliders) for investigation of water bodies. Gliding underwater vehicle includes a buoyancy control system consisting of ballast tanks, distributing solenoid valves, working fluid hydraulic pumps arranged in a solid housing of the gliding underwater vehicle. Elastomer tanks arranged in the gliding underwater vehicle permeable part, variable volume is made for displacement of point of application of resultant force of excessive buoyancy with possibility of banking and accordingly maneuvering of gliding underwater vehicle at heading. At the same time the buoyancy control system is divided into four independent actuating paths arranged symmetrically relative to the vertical axis of the gliding underwater vehicle, and the lightweight body is made in the form of a flattened sphere.

EFFECT: improved maneuvering characteristics of the gliding underwater vehicle in the horizontal plane, thereby increasing accuracy and improving safety of the gliding underwater vehicle control when performing complex maneuvering and reducing the probability of navigation accidents.
