FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used as a method for preventing transient hyperlactatemia in extensive hepatectomy. Method for preventing transient hyperlactatemia in extensive hepatectomy by using drug preparations, consists in the fact that the drug preparations are infusions of short insulin with rate of 1–6 units/hour and solution of 10 % gluconate and calcium chloride with infusion rate of 1–8 ml/h.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of hyperlactatemia correction ensured by a biochemical mechanism of stimulating gluconeogenesis and Krebs cycle in hepatocytes.
